Quality Controller(with fashion Manufacturing Industry)  - The assessment of
the quality of fabric and trims received by the Stores Department in the
event that there are any problems and upon being consulted by the Stores
Department. Liaising with the designers and the cutting room on issues
relating to quality. Responsible for the authorization of good quality
samples/ production ready for dispatch. Responsible for the efficient
monitoring of quality by inline checkers, end of line checkers and final
checkers. Responsible for recording efficiency levels of quality of the
quality control process in the factory. Recommending systems procedures that
will improve the quality control process in the factory. Responsible for the
training of inline, end of line and final checkers and their periodical
appraisals. Be able to communicate with external quality Auditors as and
when the need arises. Responsible for necessary fabric and trims testing and
selection with the approval from marketing. Discussing styles with
Supervisors before production. Making sure production try outs are done and
fitted before cutting of bulk. Other activities as may be directed by
management or the company's consultant(s) from time to time.


Applicants should have proven experience of quality control in clothing
manufacturing environment and contactable references.
